Dr. Arup Kumar Nath, MBBS, MS, M.Ch (Urology), is a pioneering urologist transforming kidney and urological care in Northeast India. With over two decades of surgical excellence and compassionate care, Dr. Nath’s innovations, including India’s first zero-ischemia laparoscopic laser removal of Kidney tumour surgery, have redefined modern urology. As the Founder & Convenor of the “UroLaser” workshop series (2017, 2019, 2025), he has trained over 300 urologists in advanced laser techniques and has been invited to conduct live operative workshops at leading institutions and conferences including AIIMS Bhubaneswar, IPGMER Kolkata, Preety Hospital Hyderabad, East Zone USICON Ranchi, Maxfort Hospital Bhubaneswar, Sarvodaya Hospital Faridabad, SCB Medical College Cuttack, UroLaser 2 & 3 Guwahati, and the Bihar Urological Society Conference (Munger). He currently leads as the CMD and Head of Urology and Robotics of Institute of Urology and Kidney Diseases (iUKD, Sonapur, Guwahati).
